Jewelry orders are currently shipping in approximately 1-2 business days.

- We ship from California, and time in transit will depend on what type of shipping you choose, as well as your location. We ask that you please be patient with us as we have seen some delays in USPS transit times.

All international orders are shipped via your local mail carrier. International orders may be subject to fees, taxes and customs duties. Lizzy James is not responsible for payment of these charges.

What do I do if the tracking number shows it was delivered - and I don't have it?

If the USPS tracking number shows it was delivered to your address, then their scan 'proves' that they delivered it to your address.  You must contact USPS to find out where your package is.

Although this is a USPS issue, here are several suggestions that work most of the time.

1 - Is it possible someone else in your household forgot to tell you it arrived?

9 times out of 10 this is the case.

2 - Have you spoken to your mail carrier person? They had to scan the package when they delivered it, so it’s possible he/she will remember something about the package. 

For example, sometimes he/she will place a package somewhere other than in your mailbox if it won’t fit (usually behind a plant, patio furniture, etc.). Or they may have accidentally delivered it to a neighbor.

3 - If you aren’t able to speak to him/her directly, we recommend leaving a note in your mailbox with the tracking number and tell them it was shipped in a white padded envelope.

4 - Have you checked to see if a neighbor received your package by mistake?

5 - If by some chance your delivery person isn’t able to clarify and you aren’t able to locate your package with a neighbor, you may open an investigation by calling 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777). Your inquiry will then be routed to your local post office where they will research the delivery of your package.

If the scan shows it was delivered to your address, and you have not received it, then you must contact USPS for a resolution.  We are not able to do that on your behalf.  We are not able to provide refunds (or we will go out of business!!) if the delivery scan shows 'delivered'.


Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Lizzy James purchase, and we're here to help!

- Chain necklaces, chain bracelets, rings and charms may be returned for store credit.  There is no restocking fee for these items

- We will happily exchange any custom made to order leather piece for LizzyJames.com store credit less $10 restocking fee.

- Earrings are non-returnable for reasons of hygiene and safety.

Lizzy James wants you to be happy with your purchase. Each piece is handmade to order in our California studio especially for you. We don't just take it out of "stock" like an imported piece, and therefore like all handmade unique items we cannot offer refunds. 

If you need to exchange a bracelet or necklace crafted with leather, we have a minimal restocking/exchange fee of $10.00 to cover the cost of the exchange and shipping your new piece(s) back to you.  Due to their custom handmade, these returns are taken apart, recycled and are a total loss for us.

Engrave-able bracelets may be exchanged for a different size or color only, for a fee of $40, as this bracelet is a total loss for us.  Engravable bracelets are a final sale

All items purchased at a 30% discount or greater are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.

Time is of the essence, and we will only accept exchanges within 14 days of the date your item was delivered. Items purchased in November and December that meet above criteria may exchange up to January 15.  There are no refunds on custom made jewelry.

Please be fair to us and remember that we are only able to accept a return or exchange that is unworn, unused, in the original condition. We cannot accept an exchange if it doesn’t meet these basic requirements.      

Before sending your return to us, please:
Step 1. Contact us via email at customerservice@lizzyjames.com for an Exchange RMA.  In your email, please include your order number/receipt.
Step 2. Please mail your wrap to us at: Lizzy James, 18029 Calle Ambiente - Suite 514, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92091.   Include the RMA number AND if you paid via Paypal include the printout of your payment in your package.
Step 3. Upon receipt, we will issue you a Lizzy James Gift Card for what you paid (less the exchange/shipping fee of $10.00 for leather based products).
Do not send your Return without obtaining RMA approval, as it will delay the exchange process.  

EXCHANGE PROCESSING TIME

IT TAKES APPROXIMATELY 2-4 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS YOUR RETURN ONCE IT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM US THE DAY IT SHIPS. 

What is your exchange policy for Rings?

We will gladly exchange your ring for your within 14 days of the date your item was delivered. During Christmas and holiday season we also allow exchanges after the holiday period - up to Jan 10.

Before sending your return to us, please:

1. Contact us via email at customerservice@lizzyjames.com for an Exchange RMA.  In your email, please include your order number/receipt and what you would like in exchange.

2. Pay $10.00 (for leather based products) to cover the cost of shipping your exchange back to you.  You may pay using one of these three options. 

Option A - If you have a Paypal account, you can send funds to our account: lizzy@lizzyjames.com.      Please email us after you do so.

Option B - If you do not have a Paypal account, please email us your payment information or call us with your credit card information (M-F 9-5 PST).

Option C - Include a bank check or money order with your exchange.  We do not accept personal or company checks.

Step 3. Please mail your item to us at: Lizzy James, 18029 Calle Ambiente - Suite 514, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92091.   Include the RMA number AND if you paid via option A include the printout of your payment in your package.

As soon as we receive your return our artisans will craft your replacement jewelry.
