At Lizzy James, we handcraft your order especially for you!  

Due to the huge demand for Lizzy James bracelets, orders are crafted and shipped within 3-5 business days (Monday - Friday) of receiving the order. 

***Orders placed with Overnight shipping are produced and shipped within 1-2 business days.***

We ship from California, and time in transit will depend on what type of shipping you choose, as well as your location. 

Customers can elect to upgrade their shipping to UPS, expedited overnight or 2-Day service at an additional cost. UPS deliveries cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. Signature required upon delivery can be requested, to ensure the security of your purchase.

International Orders

All international orders are shipped via USPS or Fedex. International orders may be subject to fees, taxes and customs duties. Lizzy James will not be responsible for payment of these charges.

  • The rate calculation is based on the destination country.
  • Customers are responsible for refused shipment fees.

What do I do if the tracking number shows it was delivered - and I don't have it?

If the USPS tracking number shows it was delivered to your address, then there is very little we can do at that point.  Their scan 'proves' that they delivered it to your address.

Here are several suggestions that we have found to be very helpful in locating missing packages:

1 - Is it possible someone else in your household forgot to tell you it arrived? 9 times out of 10 this is the case.

2 - Have you spoken to your mail carrier person? They had to scan the package when they delivered it, so it’s possible he/she will remember something about the package. 

For example, sometimes he/she will place a package somewhere other than in your mailbox if it won’t fit (usually behind a plant, patio furniture, etc.). Or they may have accidentally delivered it to a neighbor.

3 - If you aren’t able to speak to him/her directly, we recommend leaving a note in your mailbox with the tracking number and tell them it was shipped in a Priority Mail flat rate box.

4 - Have you checked to see if a neighbor received your package by mistake?

5 - If by some chance your delivery person isn’t able to clarify and you aren’t able to locate your package with a neighbor, you may open an investigation by calling 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777). Your inquiry will then be routed to your local post office where they will research the delivery of your package.

If the scan shows it was delivered to your address, it means we met our responsibility to you.  In that case we are not able to provide refunds (or we will go out of business!!).

Returns & Exchanges - Bracelets, Necklaces, Anklets, Chokers

Lizzy James wants you to be happy with your purchase. Each piece is handmade to order in our California studio especially for you. We don't just take it out of "stock" like an imported piece, and therefore are unable to offer refunds. 

If you need to exchange,  we have a minimal exchange fee of $10 per piece plus $5 shipping ($15 total).   Why?  We do not recycle or resell returned items.  The returned item is a loss for us.

This fee covers a fraction of our loss when we receive a return and make you a new piece.  We also incur a shipping expense to send the new piece back to you.

Time is of the essence, and we will only accept exchanges within 7 days of the date your item was delivered. There are no refunds on custom made jewelry.
(Note: Holiday Gift Exchange Policy:  Purchases made between November 2 - December 20, may be exchanged if returned before January 8, 2017).  
Please be fair to us and remember that we are only able to accept a return that is unworn, unused, in the original condition. We cannot accept an exchange if it doesn’t meet these basic requirements.        (Wholesale accounts - no exchanges - you already know that.)
Before sending your return to us, please:
Step 1. Contact us via email at for an Exchange RMA.  In your email, please include your order number/receipt.
Step 2. Please mail your wrap to us at: Lizzy James, POB 974, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067.   Include the RMA number AND if you paid via Paypal include the printout of your payment in your package.
Step 3. Upon receipt, we will issue you a Lizzy James Gift Card (less the exchange fee of $10 per piece plus $5 shipping, $15 total).
Do not send your Return without obtaining RMA approval, as it will delay the exchange process.  




All items are handmade, and may contain slight differences in color, shape and size.  The wrap is made of leather, which is a natural product.  It will naturally soften and crack.  This is normal and inherent to the product.  As with any leather items, Lizzy wraps are NOT to be worn in water and should not get wet.
In the unlikely event of a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your item at or by phone at 858-768-2371. 


What is your exchange policy for Rings?

We will gladly exchange your ring for your within 7 days of the date your item was
delivered. During Christmas and holiday season we also allow exchanges after the holiday period - up to Jan 5.
Before sending your return to us, please:

1. Contact us via email at for an Exchange RMA.  In your email, please include your order number/receipt and what you would like in exchange.

2. Pay $6 per ring returned. This covers the cost of shipping your exchange back to you.  You may pay using one of these three options. 

Option A - If you have a Paypal account, you can send funds to our account:      Please email us after you do so.

Option B - If you do not have a Paypal account, please email us your payment information or call us with your credit card information (M-F 9-5 PST).

Option C - Include a bank check or money order with your exchange.  We do not accept personal or company checks.

Step 3. Please mail your ring to us at: Lizzy James, POB 974, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067.   Include the RMA number AND if you paid via option A include the printout of your payment in your package.

As soon as we receive your return our artisans will craft your replacement jewelry.
